Coronavirus: Expatriate families exempted from hotel isolation

The Ministry of Health has announced that expatriate families coming to the sultanate with their children aged 18 and below are exempted from institutional health quarantine; however, they should abide by home isolation. Families must register their names in Tarassud app and wear an electronic tracking bracelet.

The authorities on Tuesday, 6th April announced that all Omani citizens would be exempt from institutional quarantine.

However, single expatriates will still have to quarantine in hotel isolation as per the rules when arriving in Oman.
