Coronavirus: Oman to conduct free Covid-19 tests

Oman to conduct free Covid-19 tests for all patients, regardless of their nationality. 

Dr Ahmed al Saeedi, Minister of Health, said ” We urge everyone to visit the venues that will be announced by the government and get themselves tested. To ensure their privacy, the visitors will not be asked about their place of residence. Our goal is to get a large number of people, including expatriates, to conduct tests.”

206 of the confirmed cases here in Oman have come from Mutrah. Therefore the Minister is urging residents from Mutrah to be tested, they will not be charged for the tests, the aim is to stop the spread of the virus as soon as possible.
