What is the best thing about working at Hi FM?

The best thing for me can be summed with this – it is the people and the experience. The crew here at Hi FM knows their stuff and they are a blast to work with. I have been in the radio business for quite a while and I have never worked with a team this small but yet accomplish so much, sound so good, and teach me new things everyday. Our listeners are incredible and its fun making them the most important part of our station because we are all on the wavelength – we all want great music and entertaining programming.  The experience of being here in Oman is one of a kind; the biodiversity, the culture and its heritage, clean and safe cities, lack of traffic… although the summer heat is something I may be unable to get used to.

 

ON THE SHOW!

Magic Ball: Great interactivity with the audience where they ask a question of the future and the Magic Ball gives them an answer.

Under The Covers: A quiz game where I play a cover of a song and the listeners guess who did the original, or vice versa, I play the original and they guess who has done the latest cover.

The Blender: I hack up and stick together two songs and the audience must guess the songs that were "blended" together.

Tech-File: A daily feature that profiles new and interesting advancements in science and technology that seem to come out from the pages of science fiction.
