5 Amazing Tips to Help with Hair Loss!

We've all either had it happen to us ourselves or a friend has said: " I don't know how to stop my hair fall"! 

We don't know what causes loss of hair or why exactly from time to time our hair decides to fall out more or break.

1. Ditch hair tools that use high heat 

Heat is always tough on hair and on a side note if your hair's colour using a high heat setting on your hairdryer can cause your hair colour to fade! 

If you have to use tongs, a hair dryer or straighteners to achieve your dream hairstyle then just simply use them on a lower heat setting. 

If you are suffering from quite a lot of splitting of hair or hair loss it might be simply better to use styling tools a little less and give your hair a rest and let it dry naturally.

2. Hair Treatments

Hair loss sometimes happens because the hair is dry. Try out a home hair mask, either shop bought or homemade using ingredients such as coconut oil.

Do a hair mask weekly this will help to keep moisture in the hair.

Also, speak to your hairdresser about hair treatments as many hair salons do great hair treats now which means more time our for you when you get your hair done!

3. Don't skip the scalp massage

Massaging the scalp helps with blood flow and circulation. Scalp massages have been found to help with circulation, therefore, helping with hair growth. It's easy to incorporate this into your daily routine just massage your scalp once you've applied conditioner to the hair. Simple as! 

4. Avoid hairstyles that pull the hairline.

Avoid hairstyles that pull the hair such as tight ponytails, cornrows, dreadlocks and braids. Instead, try to let your hair just be. During a period of heavy hair fall it's best to try to let the hair 'just be' as much as possible so less hairstyling and more air drying.

5. More Vitamins

Ideally eating a healthy diet is the way forward. However, with the busy lives that we lead this sometimes can be tough to do and by grabbing unhealthy eats on the go we often miss out on vitamins we need. Vitamin supplements can help with this and B12, Iron and Zinc have all been seen to have effects on hair.
