4 ways to get in the World Cup spirit
You can't get away from it, football fever has hit Oman now that the World Cup has started!
However, if you're not feeling it yet don't worry as we've come up with some ways to help you get in the spirit of things.
1. Go along to a venue and watch the game on a BIG SCREEN with friends and other peeps!
It's pretty much guaranteed that if you're sat in front of a big screen surrounded by cheering peeps all chatting footie you'll soon feel involved, even if you're not too sure of the difference between a penalty and a corner! Also, as a plus point, lots of venues showing the World Cup on the big screen serve food.
2. Invite footie-loving friends to yours.
Invite some friends round to yours and get in some snacks and watch a match or two. Also, why not paint your face with the flag of the country that you're rooting for that evening and eagerly watch to see if you've picked the winning team.
3. Combine your date night and football.
Yes, it really is possible. Grab your laptop snuggle under a blanket and watch the match together and see if you really are the perfect pair!
4. Get into the game.
Dust of your football boots, throw on some shorts and head along to your nearest practice session or put together a five-a-side team.
