Coronavirus: Beaches, parks and gyms to open
The Supreme Committee for dealing with Covid-19 has made the following decisions:
1- Allowing the reopening of mosques and mosques with a capacity of at least one hundred worshipers for the five daily prayers only (while not holding Friday prayers), in accordance with the controls previously announced by the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs in coordination with the Ministry of Health
2- Ending the work of the decision to ban all commercial activities in all governorates of the Sultanate from 8pm until 4am, and the continuation of the decision to reduce entry to complexes, shops, restaurants, and cafes to no more than 50% of their capacity, while allowing children under the age of twelve to enter them.
3- Allowing the opening of the activities of exhibitions, wedding halls, and other collective commercial activities, provided that the attendance rate does not exceed 30% of its capacity and does not exceed 300 people in all cases for halls with a large capacity while adhering to all preventive measures and requirements.
4- Allowing Omanis and residents of the Sultanate from among the members of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf working in neighbouring countries to move daily across the land borders to perform their work, with the need to present proof of their work from the employer
5- Allowing visitors to beaches, parks, and public parks, with an emphasis on preventing gatherings of any kind in them, and adhering to all preventive measures and requirements.
6- Allowing the practice of group sports activities in open spaces, while adhering to all preventive measures and requirements.
7- Allowing gyms to open at a rate of (50%) of their capacity, while adhering to all preventive measures and requirements
8- Allowing swimming pools, gyms, and their facilities in hotel establishments for guests and holders of club memberships affiliated with those establishments only, while adhering to all preventive measures and requirements.
