Coronavirus: Rules for Ramadan announced
The Supreme Committee on Covid-19 on Tuesday, 29th March announced new measures to prevent the spread of the virus during the month of Ramadan.
1. To limit attendance for prayers, including Tarawih prayers, to only those who have received the Covid-19 vaccine, therefore they will prevent the entry of unvaccinated people, including children under the age of twelve.
2. To continue ban on collective charitable breakfast tables (Iftar) in mosques and other public places such as tents and Public Civil Councils
3. To continue preventive measures, such as wearing face masks, and physical distancing in closed places, including mosques.
4. To continue to limit activities in international and local halls, conferences, exhibitions and activities at 70 percent of their capacity.
