Curfew ends on Saturday evening in Oman and vaccines compulsory
The Supreme Committee for dealing with Covid-19 has issued a number of decisions:
The night-time curfew will end on Saturday, meaning you will be able to move around after 10pm.
To enter Oman whether that is by land, sea, or the airports, it is required that individuals will have received two doses of vaccines that have been approved in the Sultanate (for those aged 18 years and above) they will also have to undergo a Covid-19 PCR test before or upon arrival in the Sultanate. Seven-days health quarantine with a PCR test on the eighth day is required for those who tested positive.
Starting from Wednesday, 1st September only vaccinated people will be allowed entry to all government units and private sector establishments, including commercial complexes, restaurants, and other commercial activities, as well as attending cultural, sports, group events. Heads of government and private units will take the necessary measures to implement these decisions.
