Great news, we have another public holiday. 

To mark the historic day His Majesty Haitham bin Tariq Al Said became the Sultan of Oman, Thursday, 12th January will be an official holiday. 

Previously it was thought that Wednesday would be the day off.

However, now it means we can celebrate Accession Day with a three-day weekend. 

Based on Royal Orders of HM , Thursday, January 12, will be an official holiday for employees in the public and private sectors, marking the day the Sultan assumed the reins of power in the country.@muscat_daily https://t.co/HxMT7KluFs
