Britney Spears uses #FreeBritney hashtag on latest Instagram post

After years of fans using the hashtag #FreeBritney and speculating over the safety of the 'Hit Me Baby One More Time' singer, we finally hear the truth and have some good news!

In June Britney was able to talk for the first time publicly in court and described the ongoing battle with her conservatorship.

Listen to the audio here:

This audio broke fans hearts all over the world and even sparked comments from Britney's ex Justin Timberlake:

More than 13 years after being deemed mentally unfit to choose her own legal representation, Britney Spears was told she could hire a high-powered Hollywood lawyer, a Los Angeles judge ruled on Wednesday, starting a new phase in the battle to end the conservatorship that controls the singer’s life.

The judge has now allowed Spears to hire Mathew S. Rosengart, a former federal prosecutor, who has worked with celebrities including Sean Penn and Steven Spielberg.

After Mr. Rosengart was approved by the judge, Britney read a statement, reiterating her desire to terminate the conservatorship without undergoing an evaluation. She added that she wanted her father removed as conservator and charged with abusing his role and added “I’m here to get rid of my dad".

Britney Spears celebrated her court victory with a new Instagram post where she used the #FreeBritney hashtag for the first time ever:

"Coming along, folks ... coming along 🖕🏻!!!!! New with real representation today ... I feel GRATITUDE and BLESSED !!!! Thank you to my fans who are supporting me ... You have no idea what it means to me be supported by such awesome fans !!!! God bless you all !!!!! Pssss this is me celebrating by horseback riding and doing cartwheels today 🤸‍♂️🤷‍♀️🐎 !!!! #FreeBritney"

We couldn't be happier for her and wish her the best of luck.
