A follow-up to 'Hocus Pocus' was first announced by Disney in 2019, though Midler, Parker and Najimy were not formally announced to reprise their roles as the Sanderson sisters until May of this year.
The original film starred Midler, Parker and Najimy as a trio of witch sisters who are resurrected 300 years after the Salem witch trials and make the horrifying discovery that Halloween is now a beloved holiday.
'Hocus Pocus 2' is set to premiere on Disney Plus sometime during Autumn 2022, however, the plot has not yet been revealed.
