Earth Hour started as a symbolic “lights out” event in Sydney back in 2007, now WWF’s Earth Hour has grown and in 2019,180 countries and territories got involved.

The global theme this year continues to be “Connect2Earth” which focuses on raising awareness about global biodiversity and its importance to ecosystems.  In solidarity for this message, join others worldwide and turn off all non-essential lighting on Saturday 28 March from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
