Ramadan 2019 will begin on Tuesday in Oman

The first day of the holy month of Ramadan this year will be 7th May (Tuesday) here in Oman.

The Main Committee of New Moon Sighting at the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs said in a statement on Sunday that, "Monday, May 6, 2019, will correspond with the 30th of Shaban 1440 H. Therefore, Tuesday, May 7, 2019, will be the first of the Holy Month of Ramadan for the year 1440 H."
