Rihanna given the title of Barbados' National Hero

After officially becoming a republic on Tuesday, 30th November, the country of Barbados’ first act was to name Rihanna its National Hero.

She is the second woman in history to be given the honour and now holds the lifetime title of The Right Excellent Robyn Rihanna Fenty.
