Shangri-La Al Husn Resort & Spa relaunched as a private standalone resort with an exclusive ribbon cutting ceremony and a private reception on Tuesday 8 May.

 
His Excellency Mohammad Al Zubair, founder of The Zubair Corporation and Mr Ziyad M. Al Zubair, Director of The Zubair Corporation - developers and owners of the property, as well as Her Excellency Maitha Bint Saif Majed Al Mahrouqi, Oman's Undersecretary of the Ministry of Tourism attended the relaunch.

The event was attended by more than 100 VIP guests who enjoyed canapes prepared by Executive Sous Chef Marco De Vincentis. The General Manager of Shangri-La Al Husn Resort & Spa, Milan Drager, introduced the proceedings with the ribbon cutting ceremony and the unveiling of the flagstone, which had been covered with a silk material designed and created exclusively for the occasion by Omani fashion designer label Endemage. Meaning "the merging of two," Endemage embodies the chic and fashion savvy and the label is run by Omani sisters, Lubna and Nadia Al Zakwani.
