Taylor's doesn't own the rights to her original music due to an ongoing feud with Scooter Braun (Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande's manager) therefore, she is re-recording her old material and re-releasing it so that she can actually receive the royalties from the tracks.

Well, good news, not only are we getting old tracks re-recorded but new tracks too!!!
