Disney fans listen up, we're finally getting 'The Little Mermaid' live-action remake. 

The original animated film came out in 1989 if you can't remember it, here's the trailer: 

The film's cast has been subject to rumours over the past few years with Harry Styles being a front runner to play Prince Eric.

Halle Bailey stars as Ariel, Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric, Melissa McCarthy as Ursula, Jacob Tremblay as Flounder, Daveed Diggs as Sebastian, and Awkwafina as Scuttle.

The movie was put on hold to start filming due to the pandemic; however, the remake has now started filming with extensive health and safety protocols.
