The Weeknd donates to Beirut relief fund

The Weekend recently landed the number one spot on The American Top 40. 

The singer's manager, Wassim "Sal" Slaiby, and his wife, Rima Fakih, have been campaigning to get relief for the people in Lebanon who have been affected by last week's explosion. Now it's been reported that The Weeknd has generously given a $300k donation to Global Aid for Lebanon.

The money will be given to the World Food Programme, the Lebanese Red Cross and the country's Children's Centre.

What a great guy!
