In the new Apple TV series "Extrapolations", Meryl Streep takes on her biggest role yet . . . because she plays a TALKING HUMPBACK WHALE.  (???)

"Extrapolations" is an eight-episode series about the cataclysmic effects of climate change.  And in the first episode, she plays the LAST humpback whale on Earth. She's informed of this tragic fact by a scientist played by Sienna Miller, who can communicate with her. How is that possible?  Apparently the whale . . . or at least its consciousness . . . is actually Sienna's character's MOTHER.  (???)
