Why Jennifer Lopez changed her name to "Affleck"…

Jennifer Lopez may be a strong, independent woman, but when she got married to Ben Affleck, she didn't hesitate to legally take his last name.

She says, quote, "I'm very much in control of my own life and destiny and feel empowered as a woman and as a person.  I can understand that people have their feelings about it, and that's OK, too. "But if you want to know how I feel about it, I just feel like it's romantic.  It still carries tradition and romance to me, and maybe I'm just that kind of girl."

As for how they got back together, it happened shortly after she called off her engagement to Alex Rodriguez.  Ben emailed her to tell her that a magazine had asked him for a comment about her, and he gave her a glowing one. After that, they started corresponding regularly, and soon they were making SECRET VISITS to each other's homes.
