World champion kite surfer in Oman

For the first time ever, world kitesurfing champion the Cape Verdian Mitu Monteiro, known as The Maestro, will be visiting Oman!

The Maestro, will be hosting kitesurfing clinics throughout the month of July. 

The clinics will take place in Asylah between Friday, 21st July and Sunday, 31st July.

These clinics will act as intensive training for budding kite surfers.

According to Marcelo and Jamal from Majan Sea Sports [who are hosting the event], the objective of the clinics is to upskill the participants in the disciplines of wave riding and/or strapless freestyle.
