Dhofar – Royal Oman Police (ROP) has detained 60 vehicles following a series of traffic violations that compromised public order and safety. Authorities intervened after the motorists were found to be deliberately obstructing the flow of traffic and causing significant inconvenience to other road users.
Furthermore, the motorists were accused of disturbing the public peace and tranquility through their actions. The ROP confirmed that the vehicles have been impounded as part of an enforcement campaign to maintain road discipline. Legal proceedings are currently being finalised against the individuals involved to ensure accountability and deter future occurrences of such disruptive behaviour.
