Muscat The Oman Automobile Association (OAA) venue has emerged as one of the most energetic spaces of Muscat Nights, attracting young adults, families and couples seeking fast-paced entertainment.
While the festival is spread across several locations in the Muscat governorate — with Qurum Rose Garden and Amerat Park focusing on culture, heritage and relaxed evening experiences — the OAA grounds have carved out a distinct identity centred on sport, games and live performance.

The venue has drawn steady crowds with interactive games, amusement rides and international drift championship, where tight manoeuvres and close competition have created a charged atmosphere. In contrast to the quieter cultural zones elsewhere, the OAA event offers visitors a more dynamic option within the citywide festival.
Adding to the appeal is a live circus show that has quickly become a crowd favourite. The performances feature trapeze artists, high-risk motorcycle stunts and comic acts, with a strong emphasis on physical skill and coordination. Organisers have confirmed that no animals are involved in the show.
Those who watched the show said the performances offered a refreshing alternative to screen-based entertainment. Ahmed al Abri, who attended with his wife and son, said, “The circus was incredible. Watching real people perform with such precision and courage reminded us that entertainment doesn’t always need screens. It brought back memories of my childhood, and my son was thrilled to see everything happen live.”

For expatriate residents, the experience sparked nostalgia. Rajesh Kumar, an Indian resident, said, “It felt like going back to childhood. The clowns and trapeze acts made everyone laugh and feel excited, regardless of age.”
Couples and families said the mix of attractions made the venue suitable for shared evenings out. Fatma al Rashdi, who visited with her husband and son, said, “There is energy here — games, rides and the circus in one place. It makes it easy to spend the evening together.”
Visitors from outside Oman echoed similar views. British tourist Emily Watson said, “The live circus performances were a breath of fresh air. The teamwork and skill were impressive, and I was pleased there were no animals involved.”

The circus stages three daily shows at 4.30pm, 6.30pm and 9pm, with tickets priced at RO7, RO10, RO15 and RO20.
