Muscat – Al Rahma Association for Maternal and Child Welfare marked the launch of its new visual identity and inaugurated its new headquarters in Al Khoudh, Seeb.
The ceremony, held under the patronage of HH Sayyida Meyyan bint Shihab Al Said, was attended by officials, supporters, and individuals associated with the association’s work. It began with a tour of the building, highlighting its facilities and spaces designed to support the organisation’s activities.
In her address, Sanaa bint Abdulrahman al Khanjariya, Chairperson of the Association’s Board of Directors, said the opening of the new headquarters represents a major milestone in the organisation’s history. She noted that the new identity reflects its renewed vision and commitment to serving the community and supporting its beneficiaries.
Al Khanjariya said the association has long been a centre of humanitarian work, offering support to underprivileged families and implementing programmes aimed at empowering individuals and fostering social cohesion. She added that the move marks a new phase of institutional growth, strengthening community partnerships and promoting organised volunteer work.
Built on a 4,000sq m plot with a total built-up area of 6,000sq m, the new three-storey facility cost RO1.4mn to construct. It includes administrative offices, meeting rooms, exhibition halls, and workshops for productive families. The building also features two commercial centres and 20 retail units available for rent, aimed at supporting the association’s financial sustainability.
