Muscat – Arabian Car Marketing Company, the official distributor of Ford vehicles in Oman, unveiled the Ford Mustang Mach-E at a launch event held at Hotel Kempinski, Muscat recently. The event brought together media, partners, and automotive enthusiasts to celebrate the arrival of Mustang-inspired performance in an all-electric SUV.

“The launch of Mustang Mach-E represents an important step in Ford’s evolution in Oman,” said Deenadayakaran Jeevamanickam, Business Head, Arabian Car Marketing Company. “This vehicle brings together the spirit of Mustang performance with the advantages of electric driving, offering customers a driving experience that is powerful, confident, and future-ready.”

“The Mustang Mach-E plays a pivotal role in Ford’s global electrification strategy,” said Amr Ibrahim, Regional Manager, Ford Middle East and North Africa. “It demonstrates that electric vehicles can deliver emotion, performance, and presence while supporting a more sustainable future. With the Mustang Mach-E, Ford offers customers in the Middle East an electric SUV that stays true to Mustang’s legacy while embracing the future of mobility.”

The car delivers 487 horsepower and 950 Nm of torque and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds with an estimated range of up to 419 km. Performance is supported by a centrally positioned lithium-ion battery – placed between the axles and under the floor – to help create a low center of gravity for confident handling. The battery is secured in a waterproof case and protected by a crash-absorption structure.

Mustang Mach-E adapts to the drive with four selectable drive modes that can adjust to what you see, hear, and feel behind the wheel:

Whisper: Calmer steering and accelerator response

Engage: A balanced everyday setting

Untame: Sharper steering and throttle response for a more performance-focused feel

Untame Plus (GT only): A track-focused setting designed for closed courses

Drivers can also activate One-Pedal Drive, which allows you to accelerate, slow down, and stop using the accelerator. Easing off the pedal brings the vehicle to a smooth stop, while also helping support regenerative braking.

The Mustang Mach-E is designed to fit into everyday life, with the space and flexibility to carry what you need. With the rear seats up, Mustang Mach-E offers 402 L of cargo space. Fold them down, and capacity expands to 1,420 L. With no engine under the hood, drivers also get an 81 L front trunk – or “frunk” – for added storage.

At the center of Mustang Mach-E is SYNC® 4A with conversational voice recognition. Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ come standard. A 15.5-inch center touchscreen presents information in a clean, organized layout, with quick access controls for everyday convenience. A wireless charging pad also comes standard.

Charging that fits your routine

Charging solutions have been designed to support everyday convenience. Mustang Mach-E supports DC fast charging up to 150 kW. Under optimal conditions, the extended-range battery can charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 36 to 45 minutes. Home charging is also supported with a professionally installed Level 2 wall box charger.
