Geneva, Switzerland – Embassy of Oman in Geneva prepares to host indirect negotiations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States (US) on Tuesday. These talks represent the second round of discussions concerning Iran’s peaceful nuclear energy programme, following an initial round held in the Omani capital, Muscat, earlier this month.
According to Iranian media reports, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in the Swiss city on Sunday night accompanied by a high-ranking delegation of diplomatic specialists. Beyond the intermediary sessions hosted by Oman, the Foreign Minister is scheduled to address the United Nations Conference on Disarmament and may hold a pivotal meeting with Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, to discuss ongoing nuclear monitoring and cooperation.
