Muscat – H H Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, received in his office on Monday, Yasser Mohamed Ahmed Shaaban, the Ambassador of Egypt accredited to the Sultanate of Oman. During the meeting, H H welcomed the Egyptian envoy and engaged in a productive discussion regarding the established bilateral relations between the two brotherly nations.
The session involved an extensive exchange of views on various matters of mutual interest and provided an opportunity to review ways of enhancing cooperation across multiple sectors. Both parties reaffirmed the strength of the ties connecting Oman and Egypt, focusing on shared regional objectives and collaborative efforts. The meeting was also attended by the Military Attaché at the Egyptian Embassy in Muscat.
