Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of congratulations to President Anura Kumara Dissanayake of Sri Lanka on the occasion of his country’s Independence day. In the cable, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere sentiments and best wishes for the President’s personal wellbeing and for the friendly people of Sri Lanka to achieve further progress and prosperity.

His Majesty also emphasised the importance of the existing bilateral relations between the Sultanate of Oman and Sri Lanka, expressing his desire for continued growth and development in cooperation across various sectors.
