Muscat – The General Directorate for the Control of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances has seized two individuals in Seeb following the discovery of crystal, cannabis, and psychotropic substances intended for abuse and trafficking.
The suspects have been apprehended in Seeb following a significant drug seizure carried out by the General Directorate for the Control of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances. The suspects were taken into custody after authorities discovered considerable quantities of crystal, cannabis, and various psychotropic substances in their possession, which were allegedly intended for both trafficking and abuse.
Legal proceedings against the individuals have been initiated following their arrest. The General Directorate emphasised that the seizure underscores their ongoing, rigorous commitment to eradicating the trade and use of illicit substances and maintaining public order across the country. Further investigations are currently underway to determine the extent of their trafficking network and any potential local links.
