Suwaiq – Royal Oman Police (ROP) has successfully arrested a man in connection with a significant residential robbery in the Wilayat of Khabourah. The individual is responsible for the theft of gold ornaments and various items of jewellery with an estimated value of RO 3,000 from a private home.
Following the theft, the man disposed of the stolen goods by selling them to a local gold merchant. However, investigative work by the police led to his identification and subsequent arrest. ROP officials have confirmed that the stolen assets were tracked through the gold outlet and that legal procedures against the man are currently being finalised.
