Muscat – Ministry of Education has officially declared that Thursday, February 26, will be an official holiday for all educational staff across the Sultanate of Oman. This holiday is granted in recognition of Teacher’s Day, celebrating the vital contributions of educators to the nation’s development.

The directive applies to all teaching and administrative staff within both government and private schools nationwide. This annual observance serves as a gesture of appreciation for the dedication shown by the academic community in shaping the future of students. Schools are expected to resume their normal schedules following the break, as the Ministry continues to highlight the importance of the teaching profession within the national education system.
