Muscat- The Ministry of Education has signed a partnership agreement with Sohar Aluminium LLC to support a range of educational projects aimed at enhancing digital learning, sustainability, and cybersecurity awareness among students in the Sultanate of Oman.
The agreement was signed by H.E. Majid al Bahri, Undersecretary for Administrative and Financial Affairs at the Ministry of Education, and Engineer Said al Masoudi, CEO of Sohar Aluminium.
Under the partnership, Sohar Aluminium will support several key initiatives, including:
Providing interactive technical tools to schools across Oman to enhance the implementation of digital curricula and interactive educational platforms.
Supporting the “Green Schools” project, which seeks to instill sustainability values and promote effective resource management within the school community.
Launching a cybersecurity education initiative to develop students’ technical awareness by forming specialised school teams and training them in essential cybersecurity skills.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to equipping the next generation with the knowledge and tools needed for a sustainable and digitally advanced future, in line with Oman Vision 2040.
