Muscat – Muscat Municipality has officially released the updated operating schedule for public parks and gardens across the governorate in observance of the holy month of Ramadan for the Hijri year 1447. The new timings are designed to accommodate the unique evening rhythms of the fasting month, ensuring that residents and visitors have ample opportunity for outdoor recreation and community gatherings after Iftar.
According to the official announcement, the facilities will operate under two distinct schedules throughout the week. From Saturday to Wednesday, parks will be open to the public from 4:00 pm until 12:00 am. Recognising the increased demand for leisure spaces during the weekend, the municipality has extended these hours for Thursdays and Fridays, during which the parks will remain open from 4:00 pm until 1:00 am. These measures reflect the municipality’s commitment to enhancing the quality of life for the community by providing accessible green spaces during peak social hours in the holy month.
