Bandar Abbas – Oman has formally extended its condolences to the Islamic Republic of Iran following a tragic explosion in the southern port city of Bandar Abbas. In an official statement, Foreign Ministry conveyed its sincere sympathy to the Iranian government, its citizens, and specifically the families of those affected by the incident in Hormozgan Province.
The blast occurred on Moallem Boulevard at approximately 13:58 local time and is believed to have been caused by a gas leak within a residential building. Preliminary reports from the Bandar Abbas Fire Department indicate that at least two people lost their lives, while thirteen others sustained various injuries. Emergency response teams were deployed immediately to evacuate casualties and secure the area.
