Muscat – The adrenaline-fuelled Oman International Drift Championship returns this week as the Muscat Drift Arena prepares to host the highly anticipated second round of the 2026 season. Organised as part of the Muscat Nights festivities at the Oman Automobile Association, the event promises two days of high-octane competition featuring elite drivers from across the globe.
The action commences on, Thursday, January 29th, with the qualifying sessions. Spectators can enter the arena from 5:00 PM, with the official race proceedings scheduled to begin at 6:20 PM. This initial phase will determine the competitive standing for the following day’s main event.
The championship reaches its climax on Friday January 30 with the final rounds. To accommodate the expected influx of motorsport enthusiasts, gates will open earlier at 3:00 PM, followed by the start of the race at 4:10 PM. This prestigious tournament continues to solidify Oman’s reputation as a premier destination for international drifting and professional motorsport.
