Muscat – The Arab Volleyball Association has officially announced that Oman will host the third round of the 31st Arab Men’s and 21st Arab Women’s Beach Volleyball Championship as part of its comprehensive 2026 sporting calendar. This prestigious event is scheduled to follow the opening round in Egypt and the second round in Morocco, with exact dates for the competitions to be confirmed in due course.
The announcement was made in Manama, detailing a diverse programme of tournaments aimed at national teams and clubs across both beach and indoor formats. In addition to the beach volleyball highlights, the federation revealed several key indoor championships. Jordan is set to host the inaugural Arab Women’s Under-18 Championship from July 18 to 29, followed by the 24th Arab Men’s Championship from October 8 to 18. Furthermore, Iraq will welcome the second Arab Men’s Under-17 Championship from August 6 to 16.
The 2026 sporting season began with the 11th Arab Men’s Club Championship, which concluded recently in Tunisia. This series of events underscores the federation’s commitment to promoting volleyball across the Arab world by involving multiple host nations and fostering regional athletic excellence.
