The competition saw strong participation from military cycling teams across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states. Notably, this sporting event was organised as part of the accompanying sports competitions for the wider Joint Gulf Naval Exercise (Union 25), which the State of Kuwait is currently hosting throughout the first half of December, underscoring the commitment to both military readiness and athletic excellence within the region.
