Muscat – The technical staff of the Omani national football team, led by Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz, has announced the final list of players for the internal training camp in Muscat, running from October 2 to 11, 2025, ahead of the Asian play-off matches for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, to be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Oman will begin its journey in the play-offs in Group A with a match against the host team Qatar on Wednesday, October 8, at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium, Al Sadd Club, at 7:00 PM Oman time. The team’s second match will be against the UAE on Saturday, October 11, at 9:15 PM.
The final squad consists of 27 players, including: Ibrahim al-Mukhaini, Faiz al-Rashidi, Bilal al-Balushi, Musab al-Shaqsi, Khaled al-Buraiki, Mahmoud al-Mashafri, Ahmed al-Khamisi, Naif Bait Subaih, Amjad al-Harthi, Thani al-Rashidi, Ghanem al-Habashi, Ali al-Busaidi, Sultan al-Marzouq, Ahed al-Mashaykhi, Harb al-Saadi, Arshad al-Alawi, Abdullah Fawaz, Zaher al-Aghbari, Jameel al-Yahmadi, Abdulrahman al-Mashafri, Mohsen al-Ghasani, Nasser al-Rawahy, Salah al-Yahyaei, Mohammed al-Ghafri, and Issam al-Subhi.
