Muscat – Muscat Nights have officially opened a public consultation to determine the return of large-scale fireworks displays to the festival’s programme. In an effort to enhance community engagement, residents and visitors are being encouraged to cast their votes on whether they wish to see the pyrotechnic spectacles reinstated as a core feature of the ongoing celebrations.
The proposed displays are scheduled to take place in Wilayat Bausher, a central hub for the festivities, which has previously served as a backdrop for the event’s most significant attractions. By utilizing a digital voting system accessible via a dedicated QR code, the Muscat Municipality and its partners aim to tailor the festival experience to the preferences of the public. This initiative reflects a broader strategy to integrate interactive elements into the national event, ensuring that the entertainment provided aligns with the expectations of the local community.
