Muscat – The Unified Admission Centre (UAC) at the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation has announced the start of the second round of admissions for the 2025–2026 academic year. Registration will continue till November 9.

A total of 2,962 seats are available across various programmes, including internal and external scholarships, as well as grants at private higher education institutions, Sultan Qaboos University, Oman College of Health Sciences, University of Technology and Applied Sciences, vocational colleges, and private training institutions.

UAC said this round is open to students who hold a General Education Diploma or an equivalent qualification from the 2024–2025 academic year, provided they were not registered in the first round, were not accepted for any other programme or withdrew their applications. Students who have already secured admission and completed registration are not eligible.

Applicants with equivalent or international certificates must upload copies of their transcripts, national ID cards and Ministry of Education equivalency certificates to their registration page by November 8. Applicants must re-enter all preferred study programmes.

For admission to SQU programmes, scholarships, external grants and health specialities, an applicant’s competitive GPA must meet or exceed the minimum GPA accepted in the first round. Results of the second round will be announced on November 19.
