Shinas – Royal Oman Police (ROP) arrested an individual in the Wilayat of Shinas after an operation by the Directorate General for Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances. The man was apprehended while attempting to smuggle significant quantities of illegal substances into the country.

ROP confirmed that the accused was working in collaboration with an international gang and intended to engage in widespread drug trafficking and distribution.

During the bust, officers seized a substantial haul, including large quantities of crystal meth, marijuana, and thousands of psychotropic pills. Legal procedures are now being completed against the arrested individual concerning his involvement with the illicit drugs.
