The offenders were intercepted in Nizwa following reports of reckless behaviour, including illegal street racing and the operation of vehicles fitted with modified exhaust systems to produce excessive noise. Authorities stated that these actions not only disturbed the tranquillity of the area but also posed a significant risk to the lives of the drivers and other road users. Legal proceedings are currently being finalised against the detainees to ensure full accountability for their actions.
