Dhofar – ROP (Royal Oman Police) Coast Guard police boats, successfully intercepted a vessel carrying five Yemeni nationals after it was found to have entered Omani territorial waters illegally.

The operation resulted in the arrest of the individuals, who were discovered to be in possession of large quantities of narcotic substances and prohibited cigarettes. Authorities confirmed that the seized contraband was intended for illicit smuggling and trafficking within the region. Legal procedures against all five individuals are currently being completed by the ROP.
