Bausher – Royal Oman Police (ROP) successfully intercept 122 vehicle drivers who were generating excessive, loud, and annoying noise from illegally modified or defective vehicle exhausts. This large scale effort was specifically aimed at curtailing noise pollution that has become a source of complaint for local residents.

In a simultaneous enforcement action targeting reckless behaviour, 19 vehicles were seized by the authorities. The drivers of these vehicles were caught performing dangerous acts, including disruptive burnouts and risky stunts in Bausher Sands, actions that pose a serious risk to public safety and property.

The ROP confirmed that the legal procedures against all apprehended drivers and vehicle owners are being completed in accordance with the country’s Traffic Law. This robust enforcement highlights the police force’s commitment to maintaining road safety, public order, and ensuring the comfort of residents in the area.
