Muscat – SalamAir has entered into a six-year lease agreement with China Aircraft Leasing Group Limited (CALC) for two Airbus A320ceo aircraft.
The jets are scheduled for delivery during the second quarter of 2026. This move forms a core part of SalamAir’s ambitious plan to expand its fleet to 25 aircraft over the next three years, bolstering its operational capabilities to connect the Sultanate of Oman to more regional and international destinations.
The lease supports SalamAir’s ongoing expansion programme, which is deemed an essential element of Sultanate’s air transport system and is fully aligned with the nation’s long-term developmental goals under Oman’s Vision 2040. The airline aims to strengthen the Sultanate’s position as a regional travel hub.
