Spring’s most vibrant fusion arrives in Muscat this weekend!

Celebrate Blinis, Beats & Brilliant Cultures at the 3rd Annual Maslenitsa Spring Festival!

Muscat – This weekend, Al Mouj will become a kaleidoscope of colour, flavour, and celebration! The 3rd Spring Festival Maslenitsa 2026 is set to enliven the city from February 5th to 7th.

Hosted by the stunning Al Mouj Muscat, this premier event is a vibrant bridge between nations, celebrating shared traditions and modern connections—complete with delicious blinis.

A Spectacular Opening Night!
The festival launches with a grand opening ceremony on February 5th at 6 pm, blending official welcomes with captivating performances. The evening will then come alive with a dynamic concert featuring vibrant dances and powerful folk music from across Russia. This includes a special performance from Tatarstan, a Muslim-majority republic of Russia, celebrating a unique cultural bridge between our nations.

A Wonderland of Cultural Discoveries Awaits:

  • Taste & tradition: enjoy authentic cuisine and witness breathtaking traditional performances by troupes arriving directly from Russia.
  • Create & connect: engage with creative workshops for all ages and explore interactive corners from Russian and Omani universities. Connect with Russian students from the Al Hadara Cultural Center and Oman Tourism College (OTC), volunteering to enrich the cultural exchange. 
  • Learn & explore: discover travel and tourism opportunities within Russia.
  • Network & grow: explore business-to-business opportunities, including those presented by Made in Moscow.
  • Shop the fair: discover unique Russian products, souvenirs, and crafts, including a special blend of Omani and Russian flour.
  • Capture the moment: visit the Russian photo zone with winter and traditional clothing props.

Festival Hours:

  • General Festival: 4 pm – 10 pm daily
  • Festival Fair: 4 pm – 10 pm daily (on Saturday, February 7, 9 am – 10 pm)

Building Russia-Oman Future Through Culture & Business
This major festival is organized by Russian House Oman in partnership with Rossotrudnichestvo, a federal agency for international humanitarian cooperation. The event is held under the patronage of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Oman, with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth of Oman, the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism of Oman, Visit Oman, the Moscow City Government, the Government of Ryazan region, and the World Congress of Tatars.

The festival is also supported by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (CCI of Russia)Russian-Omani Business Council, National tourist brand Discover Russia, developed by The Center for Strategic Research,  the OPORA Rossii association, a nationwide SME association representing over 450,000 entrepreneurs, and the Roscongress Foundation, Russia’s major convention organizer.

The opening ceremony will include a special moment recognizing key festival partners.
