Nizwa – The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology has announced that the completion rate for the remaining sections of the Sultan Taimour bin Faisal Road project, specifically the first phase of the Al Batinah Coastal Road, has reached approximately 20%.
In a move to ensure the steady progression of this vital infrastructure link, H E Eng Khamis Mohammed al Shammakhi, Undersecretary for Transport at Ministry for Transport, conducted a comprehensive field visit to the project sites. During the inspection, His Excellency reviewed the ongoing construction activities and received detailed briefings on the progress achieved thus far. The visit also focused on identifying and addressing various logistical and engineering challenges encountered at different locations along the route, reaffirming the government’s commitment to delivering the project according to the established timeline and technical standards
