Saham – ROP in North Batinah has taken legal action against two individuals involved in reckless driving during a social event in the wilayat of Saham. According to the Royal Oman Police, the individuals were stopped after performing tire burnouts and dangerous vehicle stunts, which resulted in a traffic accident and injuries.

Authorities reported that the incident caused significant disruption to traffic flow and disturbed public peace and safety in the area. Swift intervention by the police helped restore order and prevent further harm.

The ROP confirmed that legal procedures against the two individuals are currently underway, emphasising that such behavior poses a serious threat to public safety and will not be tolerated.

The Royal Oman Police continues to urge citizens and residents to avoid reckless driving and to respect public order, especially during social gatherings and events.
