Muscat – Visit Oman, the national travel operator, has been named ‘Strategic Partnership Destination of the Year’ by Trip.com Group in recognition of its success in enhancing the sultanate’s digital presence across Asia-Pacific markets.
The award was presented during the Trip.com Global Partner Summit held in Istanbul, Türkiye. The recognition highlights Visit Oman’s efforts to strengthen partnerships that improve digital access to Oman and promote the sultanate as a leading travel destination.
‘This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to empowering local travel and tourism providers and SMEs through expanded digital distribution of Omani tourism products,’ Visit Oman stated.
As part of its collaboration with Trip.com Group, Visit Oman launched a joint digital marketing campaign designed to increase the visibility of Omani tourism offerings. The campaign leverages Trip.com’s advanced tools in targeted advertising, audience analytics, and strategic promotions. A dedicated landing page featuring a range of Oman’s travel experiences has also been created to attract travellers from key Asia-Pacific markets, driving awareness of the country’s diverse tourism appeal.
The recognition marks a significant step in Visit Oman’s strategy to expand its global footprint and strengthen Oman’s position as a digitally accessible and competitive destination for international travellers.
