An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale was recorded on Sunday afternoon in Dhofar.
According to the Sultan Qaboos University Earthquake Monitoring Center, the tremor struck at 14:32, with its epicentre located approximately 155 kilometres northeast of Salalah.
